• Finalists will be chosen based solely on the entry materials
• Digital collaterals/ screenshots and other visual evidence of submission must accompany the submission form to avoid disqualification

• We prefer that your app/device is made available to our judges, at no cost to them, so that they can experience it. You may provide one URL to a video link demonstrating your entry

The SVBA Awards are assessed by an eminent, independent judging panel comprising entrepreneurs, leaders and innovators.
Every judge is given a number of entries to view and rate. Every entry is viewed by at least two judges. A judge is only allowed to rate a project once. If they or their organization was involved with the project, then they abstain from rating.
• Finalists will be chosen based solely on the entry materials
• Judging panel deliberations are confidential
• The judging panel reserves the right to change an entry’s category
• The judging panel reserves the right to combine several categories into a single one, or to split a category into several categories
• The judging panel proclaims one or several finalist(s) and one winner per category
• The judging panel reserves the right not to grant an award in any category where the highest standards of excellence are not met
• The judging panel’s decisions are final
• Finalists will be chosen based solely on the entry materials
